Artist, writer and curator Deborah Joyce Holman leads a tour of (15,952km) via Trans-Sahara Hwy N1 discussing online visual culture, the global circulation of identities and the digital layers behind Kudzanai-Violet Hwami’s paintings.

Deborah Joyce Holman is an artist and curator based between London and Basel. In her work, she explores language through various materials. Some of the recurring themes in her work are the constant negotiation within the notion of authorship, the limitations of representation and visibility and the interweaving of fiction, truths and facts.
This event accompanies Kudzanai-Violet Hwami's exhibition (15,952km) via Trans-Sahara Hwy N1 at Gasworks, which continues until 15 December.
