Students from Wyvil School’s Language Centre joined arts educator and curator Samantha Lippett to explore protest to celebrate Vote 100. The groups produced banners, placards and protest slogans, as well as engaging in a final ‘demonstration’ outside of Gasworks. Two films produced to document the day were screened in a special Vote 100 assembly at Wyvil School.

The Script-less Film Project was devised by Erika Tan in dialogue with Gasworks. Taking the ‘script-less film’ as a means of approaching the medium of moving image from a position of indeterminacy, the students undertook a mini-residency in Gasworks, working collectively to generate material for the exhibition.

During February half term pupils from St Stephen's Primary School will take part in a short term residency in Gasworks' Participation space. Working with artist Emily Hawes, the group will explore performance, choreography and 'live-ness'.
