During her Residency, Asma Mundrawala, from Pakistan, worked on an eight week long project with Gasworks and students from Vauxhall Primary School. Through theatre games, Asma encouraged students to openly explore their diverse backgrounds. Students were then introduced to painting as a creative medium to express their thoughts and experiences. The painting sessions were coupled with discussions surrounding identity and representation. The entire project was documented by video, which Asma edited into a short film using the students as narrators of the project. Video Links
