I have no secrets is a self-made booklet comprising a selection of images taken from different elements of Even Better Together activity. Within the booklet are images of moments of interaction between those participating in Even Better Together, artwork made within workshops and a series of visual responses to these collected fragments of the programme.
The booklet was made to accompany a recorded conversation between Katie Orr, Gasworks’ Participation Programme Coordinator and artists Sovay Berriman, Abigail Hunt, Matthew Krishanu, Albert Potrony and Lucy Steggals. Devised to prompt conversation around the inherent complexities in communicating a form of art practice that most often comes alive in a series of ephemeral moments and encounters, the booklet sought to explore a visually driven approach to communicate some of what takes place with Even Better Together both to those involved in the programme and to a wider audience beyond.

I have no secrets forms part of Talk is Cheap, the research strand of Gasworks’ long running Even Better Together programme. Through research projects, commissions, residencies and specially convened conversations, Talk is Cheap is a space within the programme for critical reflection and practice-based research into Gasworks’ participatory programming.
