During her residency at Gasworks, Navin Hyder from Pakistan co-led the project Social Fabric with London-based artist Danica Maier. The project saw five students from two different courses at Lambeth College learn the process of screen printing from the design stage to the final print.

The designs were based around the theme of personal and cultural identity, complementing themes previously explored in the students' College portfolio. The students used Navin's studio at Gasworks as a design base, then spent two days at London Printworks Trust in Brixton learning how to transfer their designs onto screens and print. The result was a collaborative banner which the students directed in terms of fabric choice and composition.
