Marcius Galan
28 Apr – 22 Jul 13
(Brazil)
With a clear, minimal aesthetic of graphic lines and careful geometry, Marcius Galan produces objects, installations, videos and photographs, often relating abstraction to the socioeconomic and political aspects of a given environment. During his residency at Gasworks, Galan intends to probe his research on the relationships between balance and economic system, functionality and movement, social layouts and abstraction. These associations are the first draft of an exhibition that he is developing for July 2013 at White Cube Bermondsey.
