Robert Novak uses a wide range of media including installations, found objects, sound and media art. Their synergetic combination creates a contemplative atmosphere whose impact engages all of the senses. Employing a juxtaposition of our knowledge or memory of natural phenomena and the recording and representation of them via media, Novak's work investigates our perception of time and space while creating situations that transcend everyday experience.

Novak studied Visual Art and New Media in the Czech Republic, England and the Netherlands. He has participated in international art projects and fellowship programmes and exhibited in Europe and Asia. He will participate in the International Studio Programme in New York. Novak is currently exhibiting in Berlin, and pursuing an investigation into the physical and perceptual phenomena of reflections
